Each year, as part of the APRA Music Awards, TMC produce several video packages outside of the usual category, nominee and winner format. This sees us filming (in Sydney) and editing interviews for the Song of the Year nominees, as well as researching and producing recognition packages for Songwriter of the Year (2022 The Kid Laroi) and Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music (2022 The Wiggles). But to kick it all off, we cut together an opening video, incorporating all the nominees to a track which while not featuring on the night had been an industry standout during the year.
